Division 12 Tournament

Tournament Rules:

Tournament Games

1. Time Limit: 6 innings or the completion of the inning in progress at the time the 1 hr. 15 min. time limit expires, whichever comes first.

2. Run Limit: 5 runs per inning.

3. Mercy rule: Game ends if (a) the visiting team is ahead by 10 or more runs at the end of 4 innings, or (b) if the home team is ahead by 10 or more runs at the end of 3.5 innings.

4. Pitching: No pitcher may pitch more than 4 innings in any given game.

5. All other rules from the 12U division as posted on the website will remain in effect.

6. Home team is listed 1st.

7. No games can end in ties. An additional inning will be played if game is tied (after time limit) and less than 4 innings have been completed. Otherwise, international tiebreaker rules will apply.

Championship

1. Time Limit: 7 innings. No time limit.

2. Run Limit: 5 runs per inning.

3. Mercy Rule: Game ends if (a) the visiting team is ahead by 10 or more runs at the end of 4 innings, or (b) if the home team is ahead by 10 or more runs at the end of 3.5 innings.

4. Pitching: No pitcher may pitch more than 4 innings in any given game.

5. All other rules from the 12U division as posted on the website will remain in effect.

6. Home team will be determined by a coin flip.

7. In the event of a tie after 7 innings, international tiebreaker rules will apply.

8. No player should sit out more than one inning defensively until all players have completed their turn.
