Division 8 Tournament
Tournament Rules:
Tournament
Games
1.
Time Limit: 5 innings
or the completion of the inning in progress at the time the 1 hr. 15 min. time
limit expires, whichever occurs first.
2. Run Limit: 3 runs per
inning.
3. Mercy rule will not apply.
4. Pitching: No pitcher
may pitch more than 2 innings in any given game.
5. All other rules from the 8U division as posted on the website
will remain in effect.
6. No
games can end in ties. An additional
inning will be played if game is tied (after time limit) and less than 4
innings have been completed. Otherwise, international tiebreaker rules will
apply.
6. Home team is listed first.
Championship
Game
1.
Time
Limit: 6 innings. No time limit.
2.
Run
Limit: 3 runs per inning.
3.
Mercy
rule will not apply.
4.
Pitching: No pitcher may pitch more than 2
innings in any given game.
5.
All
other rules from the 8U division as posted on the website will remain in
effect.
6.
Home
team will be determined by a coin flip.
7. In the event of a tie after 6 innings, international
tiebreaker rules will apply.
8. No player should
sit out more than one inning defensively until all players have
completed their turn.
