NORTH SHORE FALL BALL 2010

North Shore Girls Softball League (“NSGSL”) is facilitating the placement of girls interested in playing the 2010 Fall Ball season players in Divisions 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U.   Fall Ball is an unstructured time where girls can play with their friends and/or play up into the next age division.  Interested Managers will put together his or her own team and are not restricted by the drafting process. 

The Fall Ball season runs from Late August  through Mid-November. Double-header games are played on Sundays throughout the season.  This allows girls that play other sports the ability to continue to play softball.  Similar to All Star season games are played against other leagues throughout the San Diego County.  There are three different Fall Ball Leagues offering varying levels of competitiveness which are available to North Shore Teams:  North County Winterball Association, Mira Mesa and San Dieguito. Each Manager will determine which league will best meet his/her team’s needs and will place their team accordingly.  Managers determine the practice schedule and fee to participate.  The typical fee ranges between $100 - $150 and goes entirely towards uniforms and games.  If your daughter did not play the 2010 Rec Season, an additional $10 is due to register them with the American Softball Association.

Since Fall Ball is an unstructured season, NSGSL will attempt to place girls on teams. However, placement on a team is ultimately determined by the number of Managers available to coach.  If you have ever been interested in managing a team, Fall Ball is the perfect opportunity.
